1. GET IN TOUCH!

Get the ball rolling and have a chat with a member of staff at Canvas & Compass Travel. You can phone the office on 01446 776212, email the team on or fill out the enquiry form on the website. Try and provide as much information as possible for example –

  • Group Size (adult to young people split)
  • Travel dates
  • Destination
  • Purpose of the trip – community project, international event
  • Services required – full package, flight only etc

We are happy to help and provide advice if you are not sure of any of the above. We are happy to arrange a meeting in our office or in a location that suits the organising committee to talk through everything in more detail.

 

2. QUOTE

Based on the information provided we will work on a quote proposal for you and your group. This quote will provide a cost with inclusions/exclusions. The initial quote document is just a starting point and any package can be tailormade to suit the needs and budget of the group. Once the final package has been decided, we are more than happy to attend any parents evening to help promote the trip to any prospective participants.

 

3. BOOK

When you have your group, all signed up and you are ready to book just let us know and we will re-check availability. To book we will require a signed booking form and a deposit payment as per the below –

  • EUROPEAN BOOKING - £100.00 per person
  • LONGHAUL BOOKING - £200.00 per person

** Any bookings that involve low cost airlines may require full payment for the flights at the time of booking as per the booking’s terms and conditions of the airline **

 

4. COMMUNICATE

Your dedicated tour co-ordinator will be in touch regularly with any updates for you to pass onto the group. We are also on hand to answer any questions that may come up in the interim. We are happy to attend any training weekends to help brief the group on their trip.

 

5. FINAL BALANCE PAYMENT

Your final balance payment will be due 8 weeks before your date of travel. At this time if we haven’t collected the information before we will need the following –

  • Copies of passports
  • Details of any dietary of medical requirements
  • Accommodation rooming lists
  • Travel insurance and contact details of the group while the group is overseas including your home contact as part of the ‘INTOUCH’ process.
 

6. FINAL TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Once your final travel documents have been finalised and issued these will be sent to you in the post. In this pack will be all the information you need for your trip including your flight tickets, accommodation vouchers and contact details for the local suppliers and our staff that will be on call 24/7 while you are overseas!

 

7. BON VOYAGE - HAVE A GREAT TRIP!

While you are away make sure you keep us updated of your activities, we will make sure we follow you on social media. Please feel free to tag us in any posts so we can share with our other customers what a great time you are having.

 

8. REVIEW

When you are back from your trip and caught up with your sleep and washing we will get in touch to make sure everything went as planned. Any feedback is always gratefully received. It would be great if a member of your group can write a blog along with some photos that we can put on our website.
